This special meeting of the Congregation following immediately after the Sunday service will be hybrid this year (in church & on Zoom). This is an annual event to elect our Lay Chaplains for the following calendar year. Currently, we have only two Lay Chaplains: Kerry-Anne Kutz and Paul Sullivan. They stand for re-election.
Please note that Lay Chaplaincy is a Canadian Unitarian Universalist program for carefully chosen lay members of UU congregations to create and perform rites of passage (weddings, funeral and memorial services, child dedications, and others) for the general public and for Unitarian Universalists in congregations without ministers.
Members of the Lakeshore Congregation are encouraged to express their interest in becoming a Lay Chaplain in training. Please contact our President Sheila Laursen by email (see the Directory.)
