Pastoral care can be a nebulous discipline. It also involves skills that aren’t often framed as work or as a service, but which are vital in offering spiritual connection and healing – whether in professional ministry or as lay members of a congregation.

Rev. Rodrigo Emilio Solano-Quesnel is the current minister at the UU Fellowship of Ottawa as well as a chaplain at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, and will offer insight on the central values of spiritual care.
