Rob Lutes has an upcoming launch show for the new Sussex album The Ocean Wide, as part of the Troubadour series at the Espace Knox.
He writes: Sussex is a side project I do the vibraphonist Michael Emenau, with great players on sax/clarinet and trumpet/flugelhorn. It’s a crazy genre mashup – folk/jazz/blues pretty cool and upbeat!
I will open the show in duo format with my longtime friend and collaborator Rob MacDonald.
It’ll be a fun night, and Espace Knox, a renovated church at the corner of Grand and Godrey, is beautiful.
