The annual Coffee House is a fund-raiser for Suitcases for Africa, which provides many essential services and education for children in Kenya. Kerry-Anne Kutz and her students invite you to an evening of music at Lakeshore UU Congregation for the benefit of this West-Island-based charity and to help fund two scholarships offered by Lakeshore to Kenyan students via Suitcases for Africa.
This year, the theme is COUNTRY TUNES FOR CITY FOLKS!
Kerry-Anne and her little chicks are singing great country tunes such as “How Can I Miss You When You Won’t Go Away?” and “There’s a Light At the End of the Tunnel” and “I Hope it’s Not a Train!”
Wendy Buchanan of Suitcases for Africa and her team will be on hand with beautiful crafts for sale and to speak to us about the crucial work of SFA. Coffee and edible goodies as always. It’s an evening for everyone so come on out and wear your cowboy hats! Yee-haw!
Suggested Donation: $20 per person, but children and under free.
PS: Please leave your ponies outside!
